With iPay88, one of the most popular payment gateways in the South East Asian region, educational institutions can now easily start collecting online fee payments from students and parents. iPay88 operates in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, China and Thailand.

Schools will also have a choice to activate Alipay Gateway, which is China’s leading 3rd party online payment solution, and is part of the Alibaba Group of businesses. Alipay collaborates with all of China’s major banks (Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China Merchants Bank, etc.), and cover many countries around the world via international card and payment organisations. Supported payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, JCB, bank transfer, Western Union, WebMoney, Boleto, and more.

Institutions can now register with iPay88/Alipay as merchants and activate the payment module inside SchoolTime with their secure merchant credentials. All the school fee invoices that are generated automatically with SchoolTime will be delivered to the students and parents over email with a “Pay Now” button. Clicking this button will take the parent to their secured SchoolTime login, from where they will be able to instantly pay the fee online. All payment history is maintained by SchoolTime and visible to both parents and the school. The invoice status will also be automatically updated to “Paid” saving lots of time in manual bank reconciliation.
